From the M25:
Take Exit 5 onto the A21 southbound (Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Hastings). Follow the A21, dual and single carriageway for about 30 miles (48 kms) towards Hastings, passing Pembury, Lamberhurst, Flimwell (traffic lights), Hurst Green, Robertsbridge and John’s Cross.
Keep left on the A21 at the John’s Cross round-about and less than 1 mile (1.6 kms) later, bear left onto the B2089 direction Rye and Cripp’s Corner; you will stick with the B2089 until you get here.
After 1.5 miles (2.4 kms), halt and go straight over the cross roads at Cripp’s Corner.
After 3.2 miles (5.1 kms), halt and go straight over the A28 cross roads at Broad Oak.
After 2.2 miles (3.5 kms) pass the King's Head pub on the right.
After another mile (1.6 kms) pass The Plough pub on the right. As the road bends left again a short distance after the Plough, turn right into a grassy triangle and track leading to Road End Farm. If you go beyond the 40mph speed de-restriction sign, you have gone too far.

From Dover, the Channel Tunnel and Ashford:
Take the M20 westbound from Dover and the Channel Tunnel, direction Ashford and London.
At Ashford take Exit 10, turning left onto the A2070, direction Hastings, Hamstreet and Brenzett.
After 2 miles (3.2 kms), exit left but remain on the A2070.
After about 9.5 miles (15.2 kms), go straight over the Brooklands round-about, joining the A259 to Rye.
After 7 miles (11.2 kms) cross the bridge into Rye and at the first round-about follow the A259 left round the town to the next roundabout, turning right onto the A268, direction Battle.
After a short distance keep left at the stop sign onto Ferry Road, B2089, and keep in the left lane over the level crossing, direction Battle.
Leave Rye; and 2.5 miles (4 kms) after the railway crossing, when you reach the 40 mph speed limit and Cock Marling signs, turn immediately left into an unmarked track, which leads to Road End Farm. If you pass the Plough, you've gone too far!
